Three-year starter for New Albany. First New Albany player to make the Indiana All-Star team in 1950. Team went to final four in 1950. Player of the Year in the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference. Leading team rebounder and second leading scorer 1949 and 1950. Captain and MVP senior season. Team had 77 wins and 17 losses during his career. Lettered three years at Southern Methodist University. Reserve coach at Seymour High School for three years with Hall of Famer Barney Scott. Had over 400 wins in his coaching career in Texas. Deceased.
