Three-sport star at Valparaiso ... played for Hall of Famer Virgil Sweet ... won 4 sectionals ... first high school player in US to shoot 90% FT's for season ..3-year letter-winner and team captain for Hall of Famer Elmer McCall at DePauw ... coached Seeger to first sectional title in school history ... coached Rochester to 23 wins ... coached LaPorte to school's first sectional win in 27 years ... coached Valpo to 9 consecutive sectional titles & 5 outright Duneland Coference titles ... record of 225-94 ... Indiana Coach of the Year 3 times ... 1986 Silver Anniversary Team ... coached 1983 Valpo state champion cross country team. Valparaiso High School - Member of 3 sectional winning teams. Graduate of DePauw University. Presently the head basketball coach at Valparaiso High School.
