Coached at Jamestown, Pittsboro and then at Tech for 16 years also athletic director at Tech before being athletic dir. at Southport...4-yr varsity starter in both basketball and baseballwent on to Butler where he was starting pitcher for baseball team...did not play basketball at Butler because of 6 yrs in US Navy prior to enrollment...he coached high school basketball for 20 yrs (see above)...head coach at Tech for 8 yrs with 153-42 varsity record after posting 115-44...JV record won 3 sectionals and 1966 team was runner-up to Michigan City. Deceased.
