Inducted 2009

How did Fort Wayne Bishop Luers spell victory R-E-H-M...during high school career, a high scoring guard led the Knights to the Summit Athletic Conference, a sectional and regional title in 1980...named player of the year by the Journal Gazette...after high school recruited by William Penn (Iowa) and played one semester...came back to Indiana and was recruited by Indiana Institute of Technology...she led them to a state championship...led team in free throw percentage 75%, field goal percentage 52% and assists 6.4 pg...Bishop Luers and Indiana Tech retired her jersey in 1982 after she was tragically shot and killed...in her memory her family started what was the Nancy Rehm Basketball Tournament and the Nancy Rehm Award...that escalated to what is now the Nancy Rehm Border Wars Basketball All-Stars...has raised millions for scholarships for seniors in NE Indiana and NW Ohio for both girls and boys...how does basketball spell success R-E-H-M.
