Played for Hall of Famers Cleon Reynolds and Bob King at Shortridge... earned two basketball letters...All-Sectional Team... three-year letter winner at St. Joseph's College and a letter winner for track...set 12 scoring records at St. Joseph's, most points scored in season 543, in a three-year career 1226, best game per average, season 24-7, best per game average, career 19.8... graduated No 2 in career scoring and currently ranks 12th all time...currently third all-time at St. Joseph's in career scoring... being just 5'10" and slight of frame, he was one of the team's leading rebounders as a junior and senior...as a senior averaged 8.8 rebounds per game... led Indiana College Conference in scoring and for 2 years; first team All-ICC two years...set three ICC scoring records... MVPICC and St. Joseph's College... inducted into the St. Joseph's College's Sports Hall of Fame...two time All-American selection... first team little All-American selection in senior year... NAIA All-American selection... Catholic Digest All-American Team... small Catholic College player of the year... first team All-Catholic College.... Catholic College All-Midwest player of the year... Who's Who in Small College Basketball...brother Gerry Williams inducted into the Hall of Fame 2005.
