Robert Dille

A 4-time basketball letter winner at Chesterton…captained team 3 years…earned 4 baseball and 3 cross country letters twice…Indiana collegiate scoring champion at Valparaiso PIC magazine and Helms All- American in ’43, and LOOK magazine All-American in ’43, ’44 and ’45…Boston Garden all-star team in ’44, and MVP of college all-star game…played professionally with Detroit Falcons coached at Valparaiso, Berne-French, and Fort Wayne Central High Schools before moving to Fort Wayne Northrop, where he was varsity coach from 1971-78.
