Four-year letter winner for Leo Jr.-Sr. High School, set scoring record (1,059 pts.) and rebounding record (785) inducted into the Leo Athletic Hall of Fame...played for Iowa State University four years, female athlete of the year in 1985, first female to have jersey retired 1985, inducted into ISU Athletic Hall of Fame, owned or shared 33 Cyclone records at end of career including career points (1,789), career rebounds (921), most points in a game (42) and most rebounds in a game (23), twice named Big Eight Conference Player of the week in 1985 and once in 1984, 1st team All-Big Eight 1985, Academic All-Big Eight 1985...spent 1986 playing for the Virginia Express of the NWBA professional league...girls' coach at Fort Wayne North and Woodlan High Schools...2006 Silver Anniversary Team.
