Led the Archers to a 24-4 season and the Final Four in ’67 … had a one-game high of 44 and set a school record with 1,697 career points…a New Mexico, he scored 1,542 points, holding the Lobos’ record for 17 years, averaging 23 points a game his junior and senior seasons…during his career (under future Indiana State and Larry Bird coach Bob King), he played for Lobo teams that reached as high as fifth in the national rankings…played three years in the American Basketball Association.
