The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame announces the 2008 Induction class along with the annual St. Vincent Silver Medal Award Winner.
The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s Annual Men’s Banquet will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.  The ceremony will take place at the Primo Banquet Hall, which is located on the south side of Indianapolis. Tickets will be made available in early 2008.  Call the Hall at 765-529-1891 for more information.

Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Girls - Class of 2008 Announced.
Each year the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame inducts one person into the Hall that has made a significant contribution to Indiana basketball in some fashion other than as a player or coach.  The 2008 St.Vincent Silver Medal Award will be
presented to Pat McKee, assistant sports director of The Indianapolis Star. This years class includes:

  • Betty Lou Clark - Orleans 1970  (Deceased)
  • Pat McKee - St. Vincent Silver Medal Award

The exhibits at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame are about basketball history... and basketball history is Indiana history! Students discover the individuals who have created Indiana's basketball tradition and will learn about the influences basketball has had on our Indiana heritage.
Scheduling a Field Trip
Choose a good date and time for a tour, and call the Hall of Fame at least one week in advance (765) 529-1891.

Driving Directions
The Hall of Fame is located on Trojan Lane in New Castle. Complete directions and maps can be found on the Museum Info page.
(Note About Bus Parking) Once on Trojan Lane, we suggest you go past the Hall of Fame and turn around in the New Castle Fieldhouse lot next door to the museum, then park in front of the Hall of Fame in the westbound lane of Trojan Lane in the spaces marked for Bus Parking.
