Freshman forward with great ball-handling skills played every second of the 1927 state championship game -- as did all 5 starters for victorious Martinsville...4-yr starter...as a sophomore, his team lost state title game to Muncie Central and Charlie Secrist's famous half- court shot...Martinsville was ousted in '29 tourney by Bedford in double-overtime, then lost to eventual state champ Washington a year later...played at Indiana University for Hall of Famer Everett Dean...played for Columbus team that won Indiana-Kentucky championship…played with the Kautskys, among other professionals teams.
