Wooden's asst coach '37-'39 at South Bend Central ... became head coach after the war, winning 4 straight sectional and regional titles, putting one of those teams into the state finals ... earlier coached Dunkirk to Jay County championship ... '39-'42 was first basketball coach at So Bend Adams. Varsity coach at Ball State University until 1954.
