Helped his 1951 Crispus Attucks team reach Final Four...all-city, All-State and a member of the Indiana all-star team...called by his high school coach, Hall of Famer Ray Crowe, as 1 of 2 best Attucks outside shooters of all time...2-time Helms Little All-American at Indiana Central, where he completed school as all-time leading scorer with 2,280 points...4 year average of 24-1...all-conference three times...played in NBA with Cincinnati and Syracuse, and with the Harlem Globetrotters.
