Won 71 percent of his games during a 29-year coaching career...coached Vincennes to state championship in 1981...also coached three other teams into Final Four...Tell City in '61 and Vincennes in '68 and '69...teams also won 9 regionals, including 3 straight at Tell City, and 21 sectionals...twice named coach of the year by the Indiana Sports- writers and Broadcasters Association...coached Indiana all-stars to two victories over Kentucky in '81...a thre-year letterman at Florida State.
