At 6'5', a state tournament starter for 3 years for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks under coaches Ray Crowe and Bill Garrett...member of 1956 state championship team...one of two returning starters as a junior as Attucks surprised everyone by reaching the state finals again...led his team in scoring and rebounding as a senior...an Indiana All-Star, scored 18 in a one-point win over Kentucky and was named Star of Stars... lettered two years at the University of Illinois, then transferred to Southern Illinois University...a CPA, he completed a law degree at I.U. in 1990.
