A 3-sport letterman and all-city performer in basketball...lettered in 4 sports during college career at George Washington University, interrupted by military service...as senior in 1947 was team captain and an All-Southern Conference selection...after 3 years teaching at Evansville Bosse and more military service in Korea, became head coach at Evansville North in 1925...in 21 years there, compiled a 283-152 record, including the 1967 state championship...won 7 city titles.
