3-yr All-Conference guard at Central, playing for Hall of Fame coach Elmer McCall...as jr was MPV on Bears' first state championship team which nipped Terre Haute Gerstmeyer team 42-41 for title...named All-State that year, and Dell magazine named him to its All-American squad...high school career ended in regional loss to Elkhart...went on to w-sport stardom at Ventura College in Calif...in addition to being team MVP and 2-time All Conference in basketball, set school's long jump record.
