Chet was team captain and All-Sectional for two years at Gary Mann. He was all-state as a senior, then went to play at Michigan State for three years. He played professionally with the Detroit Falcons. He was longtime athletic director at port Huron Junior College. He's also a member of the Michigan State Hall of Fame.
