Played professional football with Chicago, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh...Asst Coach with Kansas City Chiefs...Pete played outstanding basketball at Portland High School where he was a leading rebounder and play maker. In 1948 his team lost 1 regular season game and lost to Muncie Central in Semi-state finals. Coached by Harold Wallace, Pete was chosen on the Indiana All Stars. He later played both varsity basketball and football at Purdue University for 3 years and then went on to play professional football with Chicago, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
