SCHOOLS...With a record of 340-161..four 20 victory seasons and two Bedford sectional championships (while at Shawswick) ... started coaching at Marco in 1936-37, then went to Scotland, Williams & Midland before going 14-7 and 18 - 3 in tow years at Oolitic, winning the Lawrence Co. tournament each yr. ...in 1946-47, he began a 13 yr. tenure at Shawswick ...his teams went 207-82, winning the 1952-53-55 County Tourney championships & the 1952 & 1959 Bedford sectionals ... after coaching, spent 20 yrs. as a school supt. 18 yr. as the first supt. of the West Washington Schools…elected two terms on both the IHSAA Athletic council and the Board of Control.
