Played three years in the National Basketball Association...Willie played for three years under Hall of Famer Don Reichert. His team went to the final four in 1967 where he scored sixteen points in a state tournament game. He was named Indiana's Mr. Basketball and scored 27 points in the series with Kentucky. He then played college basketball for the University of New Mexico before a three-year career in the American Basketball Association. Willie was living in Georgia at the time he was named to the 1992 Silver Anniversary Team.
