With a 3 yr. record of 60-9 entered the US Marines upon graduation and captained the Cherry Point Marines to 31 victories in 1946-47..entered Purdue and played 3 yrs. & upon graduation re-entered the military service, this time the US Army ... at Northwest teams won 3 sectionals & 2 City Tournaments...involved with the Indianapolis-Scarborough peace games for 10yrs. Coaching abroad worked with national teams in Rwanda & Nigeria...was the US coach for the Zaire Women's team in 1988. He finished his career as an assistant at IUPUI for two years.
