Won eight letters in basketball, football, and baseball at Greenfield High School....played basketball and football at The Citadel ....assistant coach at George Washington High School from 1960 - 1967 under Hall of Famer Jerry Oliver where they won the State Championship in 1965....head coach at Franklin Community High School from 1968-1979....coached 1973 and 1974 Franklin teams to consecutive Final Four appearances....named Co-Coach of the Year in South Central Conference in 1973....three of his players were awarded the Arthur L Trester Mental Attitude Award....won six sectionals, two regionals, and two semi - states at Franklin....head coach at Center Grove High School from 1984 - 1992....won four sectionals and was named Coach of the year in the old Central Suburban Athletic Conference in 1989.
