as a freshman at Ball State University, he was hired by
WLBC (Muncie, IN) and has been the "Voice of the Ball
State Cardinals" for basketball and football for over 46
years ... in addition to 2,000 Ball State broadcasts, he
has done over 2,500 high school basketball and football
games as well as 46 consecutive Indiana High School
State Basketball finals ... selected Sportscaster of the
Year for the State of Indiana by the Indiana
Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association in 1985,
1989, and 1992 ... member of Ball State University and
Mid-American Conference Halls of Fame ... Bachelors and
Masters degrees from Ball State University. |
