Eskew, former IHSAA Commissioner, who received the Silver Medal in 1970 ... first father-son duo to receive this award ... graduated from Sullivan High School ... participated in football, basketball and track ... completed undergraduate studies at DePauw University ... Played football and ran track (setting school records in both sports at the university) ... has been inducted into the Sullivan High School and DePauw University Athletic Hall of Fames ... serves as President of the DePauw Alumni D Association ... has practiced obstetrics and gynecology since 1974 ... in addition to delivering over 5000 babies, has served as the ob/gyn residency director, medical director of women and infant's services, and currently is the director of physician and patient relations at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis ... he was instrumental in creating a computerized program for the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame which provides a systematic comparison of the basketball highlights and accomplishments for nearly 300 individuals that have been nominated for induction.
