Museum Information

HOURS
The Hall of Fame Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

(Please note: The museum is CLOSED Mondays and on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and Easter.)

ADMISSION
Ticket price for ADULTS and TEENS is $4.00. Children (ages 5-12) are admitted for $2.00. Preschoolers are free, group rates are available, parking is free, and the Hall of Fame is completely handicapped accessible!

DIRECTIONS

NEW CASTLE is home to the Hall of Fame, and is located 35 miles east of Indianapolis, and 5 miles north of I-70 on State Road 3.  The Hall of Fame is located on Trojan lane, which is just east of State Road 3 on the south side of New Castle.

FROM THE SOUTH: Take I-70 to the State Road 3 exit (#123). Go north 4 miles to the fifth stoplight. Turn right onto Trojan Lane.

FROM THE NORTH: Stay on State Road 3 though New Castle. Turn left at the Ameriana Bank sign and the Shell station.

Discounts and tour guides are available for pre-arranged group tours of 20 or more. Group rates for adults are $2 and for students $1, chaperones are free.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
The Hall of Fame is a private, non-profit corporation, operating solely on earned income and donations. A $100.00 annual membership contribution entitles you and your family to unlimited free admission to the museum, subscription to Indiana Basketball History Magazine, and invitations to all the events and activities that the Hall of Famers themselves receive!

FACILITY RENTAL
The Hall of Fame makes a great venue for after-hours receptions, business meetings, employee benefit parties, and class reunions.

SPECIAL EVENTS
The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame schedules many special events throughout the year.

  • The City Securities Hall of Fame Classic basketball tournament is held each December at the world's largest high school fieldhouse next door to the Hall of Fame museum and is a highlight of Indiana high school basketball's regular season.

  • The Annual Awards Dinner, where the Hall of Fame inductees are enshrined is held each March for the Men and every April for the Women's program. There is an informal reception at the Museum in the afternoon and a black tie dinner that night.

Other receptions and events are scheduled year-round at the museum.
