Hall of Fame
Players become eligible for the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame induction 26 years after he/she has played high school basketball. Coaches are eligible after accumulating 25 years of varsity experience or 10 years after retirement from high school coaching. While anyone can nominate an individual to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame a state-wide board of directors (composed of coaches, journalists, administrators, and businessmen) oversees the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame selection process, each year appointing a selection committee representing all parts of the state.
Each year the Hall presents the Silver Medal to an individual deserving special recognition for his/her contributions to Indiana high school basketball. Recipients of the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever Silver Medal are considered to be Hall of Fame Inductees.
A Silver Anniversary Team of outstanding senior basketball players from 25 years ago is selected each year.
