A Streak for the Ages: Ben Davis Celebrates Boys Basketball 1993-96 Final Four Teams

In a school known for its football success, sometimes it’s easy to forget about the other all-time great times here at Ben Davis.  Especially when they were around before any of us current students were born.  But on December 29, some truly historic teams were celebrated at halftime of the Ben Davis - Carmel boys basketball match up.

Former head coach Steve Witty’s first two teams at Ben Davis won 15 and 16 games but no championships.  He challenged the 1992 Giants, that “all it took was a team to get the championship tradition started and once it happened it would happen again and again.”
