30-year basketball coach & athletic director at Indiana Central University...coached Indiana All-Star team against Kentucky in 31 games, winning Indiana Central, won more than 63 percent of his games, retiring with a 483-279 record...named to Helms Foundation Basketball & Olympic basketball selection committees...past president of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics...conference coach of the year 8 times, District 21 coach of the year 3 times & NAIA national coach of the year in 1967...led Greyhounds to District 21 tourney 14 times, 6 times advancing to national tourney...was a standout player at Indiana Central & member of 1942 nationally ranked team.
