Scored 1,985 career points at Madison High School, still remaining school’s all-time leading scorer…led Madison to four sectional and three regional titles and 81-16 record over four years under HOF coach Bud Ritter…1960 Indiana All-Star and runner-up for Mr. Basketball award and named to Parade Magazine All-American team… led Evansville College in scoring two seasons and was a starter on Evansville’s 1964 NCAA Championship squad…named Associated Press All-American and to the NCAA All-Tournament team…scored 1,335 career points and graduated as Evansville’s fourth all-time leading scorer… hit longest shot in Roberts Stadium history – 86 feet vs. Notre Dame in February 1962… 1985 Silver Anniversary Team member.
