16 years in National Basketball League, as a player and coach; also played with Oshkosh All-Stars and Ft Wayne Zollner Pistons. Player coach in Pros at Waterloo, Iowa, 9 yrs was Purdue's freshman coach. His 1934 Indianapolis Cathedral High School team won the state Catholic championship...duplicated that feat in the national Catholic championships...named outstanding player in both tourneys...went into professional basketball...16 years in the National Basketball League, as a player and coach...9 times all-league guard...twice a world champion with Oshkosh All-Stars and Fort Wayne Pistons...three years as player-coach at Waterloo, Iowa...for 9 years was Purdue freshman coach under Hall of Famer 'Piggy' Lambert.
