Edwin Hubble

Coached New Albany to undefeated 1913-14 season and deep into state finals… beat up on opponents from Indiana and Kentucky in the regular season to the tune of 100-5, 40-3, 38-8 and 50-12 and reached quarterfinals of state tournament… was noted athlete himself, including as a member of 1908 University of Chicago mythical National Championship team… coaching success came before noted career as one of the greatest astronomers of the 20^th Century… later recognized as namesake of the Hubble Telescope.
