Coached Wabash College Little Giants for 35 seasons; teams won a school-record 497 games including 1982 NCAA Division III Nat'l Championship...38-year head coaching career, won 544 games, 15th all-time in Division III history...7 of his players named All-American & 7 of his players inducted in Wabash Athletics Hall of Fame...named NABC Coach of Year in 1982 & District Coach of Year in 1997...led five 20-win squads...an assist. coach in 1983 Nat'l Sports Festival & 1985 Jones Cup games in Taiwan...all-state basketball & baseball player from Wooster, Ohio, set 11 school records in basketball - career points, season points, season rebounds, scoring average & rebounding average...played basketball 4 years at Univ. of Tennessee & was a member of their 1967 SEC championship team...was drafted by baseball's New York Mets.
