Ten sport letter winner at Perry Meridian High School...1981 Marion County Coaches of Girls' Sports Female Athlete of the Year...team was Marion County Champs in 1980 and 1981, and ranked third in the state as senior...team captain and MVP 2 years, 1981 Indiana All-Star, UPI 1st Team All-State and AU Honorable Mention All-American 1981…career records 1,178 points and 926 rebounds...went on to play at Notre Dame where she started 95 of 105 games and recorded 32 double doubles (4th all time)...one of only 5 players to post double figure scoring average in each of 4 years, one of only 3 players to lead team in rebounding all 4 seasons...two time captain...Academic All-American in 1983 and 1985...2nd all time in steals in a single game...2nd in career rebound average (8.1)...scored 1000th point against Cheryl Miller of USC...4 year team record 70-35...had the chance to play professionally in Europe but chose to pursue academic interests by attending medical school...member of the 2006 Silver Anniversary Team.
